**Job Description
We are looking for senior engineers to join our highly skilled team, delivering on our exciting product roadmap and scaling our platform as we continue to expand across the globe. As a Tech Lead in our Pricing Experience team, you will take ownership of the pricing services that are changing the way daily travel is paid for. You will need to be curious, self-sufficient and motivated to maximise the value that can be brought from our platform. You will be responsible for developing & delivering a technical roadmap in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders. You will be providing technical leadership to a small team of engineers to implement an agreed roadmap as well as supporting the pricing platform.

**About our platform tech
- Java/Spring/NodeJs microservices
- Open source and AWS technologies (ECS/RDS/DynamoDB/S3/SQS/APIGateway/Lambda), IaC (Cloudformation/SAM)

**Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain dependable platforms, production-quality APIs, workflows, and tools
- Provide technical leadership for a team of 3 to 5 engineers
- Mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Service Operations, Platform and Engineering Management to plan for multiple initiatives at once
- Build performant, sustainable, and maintainable technologies and code

**What you’ll need:
- Willingness to learn, fail, and try again
- You are curious, proactive and self-motivated
- An awesome attitude and a collaborative nature
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in Java software development
- Developed software in a cloud-hosted environment (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Self-motivated and willing to participate in all areas of engineering
- 5 + years of technical leadership experience
- Solid Java/Spring skills with experience across the stack
- RESTful API experience
- Share your knowledge with both technical and non-technical people
- Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and communicate clearly and effectively on a wide range of issues with colleagues

**Nice to haves
- Previous experience shipping and supporting products at a global scale
- Experience with developing pricing engines
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering
- Experience with giving technical presentations to internal and external audiences
