Our client is currently seeking experienced Trades assistants for their busy factory based in **Smeaton Grange**. If you are handy on the tools, have worked in fabrication workshops or have welding experience but no trades, these positions would suit you perfectly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the tradesman daily
- Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times, and maintain tools and equipment in good order
- Ensure all work is completed to high quality standards and the workplace complies with OH&S

**Skills & Experience Requirements**:

- Previous experience in welding - very highly regarded
- Physically capable to lift, carry and move lengths of aluminum, and stand for long periods of time
- Understand the importance of workplace health and safety, and follow company policies and procedures
- Have a strong work ethic, reliable and good sense of workmanship, to ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Be a team player with good communication skills

**Salary**: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Licence/Certification:

- Australian driver's licence (preferred)
