**As a**Manager, Scholarly Communication and Research Outputs, you will**:

- Lead with integrity, emotional intelligence, and ethical standards to cultivate a cohesive and capable team. Recognize and reward performance that aligns with the University's values and objectives.
- Develop and implement local plans that align with the University's research strategy. Monitor progress, assess risks, and adapt priorities to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee the design, management, and evaluation of the Library's services related to research support, scholarly communication, bibliometrics, and stewardship of research outputs and data.
- Analyze complex issues, identify inclusive solutions, and translate them into clear goals. Implement and evaluate continuous improvement strategies to enhance service delivery.
- Foster stakeholder support, generate enthusiasm for change, and create a safe environment for open dialogue. Promote inclusive and respectful resolution of issues to advance the University's research agenda.**

**To be successful, you’ll have**:

- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Project management experience and has a good grasp of the very volatile scholar communication landscape.
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Demonstrated experience supporting research in a university or similar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of current research issues in higher education, trends in scholarly communication and Open Research.
- Extensive knowledge of bibliometrics reporting practices, impact and engagement measures, repository and research data management in a higher education environment.
