**Warehouse Storeman (Bilingual English & Chinese)**

**Our client**

Our client is one of the largest importers, wholesalers, and distributors of Asian food products with a 30-year history in Australia. They import a wide range of Asian food and beverages from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore, and exclusively represent over 40 well-known brands.

In addition to being sold in major Asian supermarkets, their products are also available in major Australian supermarkets such as Woolworths, Coles, Costco, IGA, etc.

They are on the hunt for an individual available to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8:00-16:30 in their Warehouse at Wetherill Park.

They require a motivated and committed individual with a good attitude and the ability to follow the direction of the Warehouse manager. Willing to start and train a young person with the right attitude, 1-year experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager you will be a trustworthy, energetic and fit individual willing to take ownership of your day-to-day activities in the warehousing functions as well as assisting the team where required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements; arranging for repairs.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining a clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Completes deliveries by driving trucks or van to and from vendors.

**Critical skills for the role**
- 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- High-quality standards and safety mind-set
- Organized, thorough, and accurate with an eye for detail
- Great Reporting Skills, and Data Entry Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team
- Ability to follow directions and show initiative and commitment
- Forklift ticket is desirable but not required
- **Able to speak Cantonese or Mandarin**
