**Anaesthetic NUM - Level 2**

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Anaesthetic Nursing Unit Manager to lead our anaesthetic nursing team.

As the Anaesthetic Nursing Unit Manager Level 2, you will oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring that the highest standards of patient care and safety are maintained. You will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating clinical practices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and support a team of anaesthetic nurses, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality anaesthetic care, ensuring compliance with policies, protocols, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to optimise unit efficiency
- Implement evidence-based practices and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

**Qualifications**:

- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in anaesthetic nursing
- Previous experience in a leadership position - CNS, Floor Manager, Relief NUM Role
- Strong knowledge of anaesthesia practices, protocols, and patient care standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
