Wests Group Macarthur is home to over 300 staff, 80,000 members and offer multiple venues, bars, gaming lounges, functions and events, food outlets and sporting facilities.

We're looking to add to our experienced and award winning Function and Event Team to support them from setting up function rooms to leading the team to meet client expectations whilst delivering exceptional service. You will be helping create memorable cocktail parties, awards nights, corporate presentations, training, business luncheons, wakes and weddings.

**Reporting to the Functions & Events Manager, your responsibilities will include**:

- End-to-end client management during the execution of functions
- Setting up and breakdown of all functions
- Ensure exceptional food & beverage service is delivered to our valued customers at all times
- Liaising with the function & event team to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the function requirements to deliver an exceptional function
- Direct, guide and lead the activities of all staff involved in the service area of functions
- Manage and deal with customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Continually coach new and existing function staff to ensure the highest standard is maintained
- Food & Beverage experience in functions and events preferably in a leadership role
- Determination to maintain high standards and exceed customer expectations
- Thrives under pressure and has an eye for detail
- Be able to inspire and lead your team to deliver an exceptional event
- Immaculate presentation and grooming standards
- Able to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and flexibility with hours including mornings, nights and weekends
- Current RSA & RCG certificates
