**The Role**

An opportunity has arisen for a Travel Consultant to join our Group Travel team based in our Perth office. The Travel Team is widely spread throughout Australia with team members located in WA and the eastern states. This role is responsible for providing a seamless travel service to all GHD management and staff, and will include delivering information on travel, costs, logistics, visa requirements, travel safety and insurance in accordance with the GHD Travel Policy.

**To be successful in the role you must be able to**:

- Book and make changes to domestic and international travel in a GDS environment.
- Utilise our reservation/booking and other mid and back-office systems for requesting and making bookings.
- Provide quotes for vehicles, flights, accommodation, and other services.
- Liaise with airlines and service suppliers regarding waitlists, excess luggage, priority seating, booking issues, etc.
- Coordinate travel for in house conferences and seminars.

**What would you bring to the team?**
- Sound travel consultant experience
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills together with the capacity to be flexible and adaptable
- Strong Australian and international geographic knowledge
- GDS proficient (Amadeus, Tramada and Concur would be well regarded)
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork ethic
