Warehouse Storeperson

**Role Summary**:
The Storeperson role is responsible for multiple daily tasks including receiving, storing, picking and packing of Industrial Valve / Valve spare parts. No one day will be the same.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receipt & process incoming goods into the warehouse via our ERP System (Oracle).
- Storing incoming goods into their correct locations.
- Accurately pick/pack Work orders in a timely manner to ensure production workflow is maintained.
- Accurately pick/pack Customer orders from small boxes to large pallet items and book transport for despatch.
- Assisting with daily stock counts.
- Loading and unloading trucks using forklift or by hand.
- Internal stock movements.
- Paint touch up, cleaning packing of valves before shipping to customer.
- Open wooden crates.
- Operate overhead crane.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
- Manual handling 5kg - 20kg using proper lifting equipment & perform duties while standing for extended periods of time.
- Handle Air & Power tools, use slings as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar warehousing environment is required.
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual lifting of up to 20kg.
- Current Forklift licence (or willing to obtain).
- Good level of Computer skills.
- Flexible to work overtime during busy periods.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
