**_ C&K Redlands Community Kindergarten_** is known as pre-prep or preschool and has a program for children in the year before they attend school.

C&K's kindergarten programs are guided by university-qualified teachers and support children to be curious, capable, and collaborative learners.

At C&K we know that children do not learn in isolation, for us learning is partnership between teachers, children, parents, and communities.

C&K Redlands Community Kindergarten is double unit Kindergarten service located on the bayside in Cleveland. We have been educating and caring for children of the Redlands community since 1964.

We are looking for a Trainee Educator who has the passion and drive to be part of our team.

You will be working on a fixed term full time 12 month contract with the possibility of permanent employment after you have studies completed your studies.

As a Trainee Educator through C&K you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with us, to bring new skills and ideas to challenge your knowledge and deliver excellence in early education and care. For the role we are looking for someone who is energetic, passionate and fun, who will pride themselves on their passion and dedication for early education and care.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Share all duties involved in the care and education of the children with other educators
- Actively participate in staff meetings and training opportunities
- Prepare materials and activities as required
- Contribute to, and actively assist in the delivery of the program planned
- Build meaningful relationships and interactions with children
- Contribute to each child’s C&K learning portfolio
- Must be willing to complete studies towards your qualification to successfully complete within the timeframe
- Prior experience within early childhood education would be an advantage
- Ability to commit to and complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and care through the C&K College
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- **_Applicants who already hold an Early Childhood Qualification will not be eligible for a traineeship_**

**About C&K College**

C&K College of Early Childhood is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training to early childhood educators and carers since 1998. Via this traineeship pathway, our aim is to deliver quality education and training by providing work-based mentoring, tailor-made tutorial sessions delivered by experienced trainers and assessors and access to development resources and C&K policies and procedures.

All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which includes a police check. Also, all C&K employees will need to have obtained their 1st and 2nd vaccinations for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
