**Job Title**: National Service Manager

Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing, and recycling. Over 75 years, we've grown to 7,000 employees and 150 global operations -predominately in Australia and New Zealand.

We believe materials are not recycled until they’ve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes, water bottles, and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand’s food and beverage packaging industry.

**Role Details**:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Automation National Service Manager to lead our technical service, spare parts, and supplier management functions across AU & NZ. Reporting to the Automation Group Service and Project Manager, this role will oversee service excellence, strategic procurement, and technical review for all automation equipment sales.

**What you'll do**:

- Actively manage and develop supplier relationships, ensuring strategic procurement of automation equipment.
- Lead and train service technicians, ensuring standardized service excellence across all operations.
- Drive spare parts sales and inventory management, identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Oversee technical review of equipment offers to customers, ensuring feasibility and efficiency.
- Manage and enhance the ServiceMax platform for automated service reporting and invoicing.
- Support key accounts, including Visy Recycling, by delivering best-in-class service and solutions.
- Develop national strategies for service excellence and spare parts growth.

**What You Will Bring to the Team**:

- Proven business acumen with experience in technical sales, service management, and supplier negotiations.
- Strong mechanical or electrical background with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Leadership experience in managing technical teams and driving performance.
- Excellent sales forecasting and planning skills, with strong commercial awareness.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint, with SAP experience preferred.
- Experience with case forming, erecting, palletizing, and materials handling equipment (desirable).
- Strong problem-solving ability and a results-driven mindset.
