**The Position**

In this role, you will provide specialist anaesthetic services, including appropriate pre and post-operative care, within credentialed privileges to patients of Bendigo Health. As Consultant Anaesthetist you be required to provide professional leadership, training and supervision to doctors in training, other clinical staff and medical students.

**The Department**
The Bendigo Anaesthetic Department is accredited by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) as a training site for anaesthetic trainees for up to 12 months of training time who wish to become Fellows of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).

**The Division**

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
