Our Glengarry campus, is an extended stay and outdoor experiential education campus, located in the pristine Kangaroo Valley, two hours south west of Sydney. It provides a distinctive learning environment in which Year 9 boys discover the tools they need to grow into fine young men.
Glengarry's residential program is a unique, expansive experience that accelerates boys; social development and it is renowned as a rite of passage into manhood.

**About the role**:
We are seeking an exceptional Outdoor Education Instructor to join our progressive and unique Glengarry campus team. Full and part time contract three year opportunities are available commencing as soon as possible.
Meals are included each day as is access to College facilities such as the gym, mountain bike trails, and use of outdoor equipment (upon request).
Outdoor Staff will be provided with a full outdoor uniform including a rain jacket, tent, sleeping bag, trangia, hike pack and sunscreen.
First Aid kits are supplied by the college and audited by our on site registered nursing team.
Allowances for hike boots, bike helmet, bike servicing and replacement parts are incorporated into the salary package.
Staff are required to supply their own mountain bike.
Outstanding professional development opportunities are also on offer, along with a competitive remuneration package.
**Essential requirements**:
- IV, Diploma or Degree in Outdoor Recreation
- Wilderness First Aid Certificate (course may be offered by the College).
- IV or Diploma in Outdoor Recreation or a Degree in Outdoor Education with recognised competency in at least three of the following areas;
- Bushwalking
- Navigation
- Mountain Biking
- Flat water canoeing/kayaking
- Abseil natural and artificial surfaces
- Climbing natural and artificial surfaces
- Caving
- Sea Kayaking
- Canyoning
- Surfing
- Demonstrated experience of at least three years working in the Outdoor Education industry
- Light Rigid Licence (or willing to obtain prior to commencing employment)
- Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion
**Desirable criteria to be considered**:
- Previous Boarding/Residential experience and/or Teaching Qualifications are desirable
- An active interest in outdoor education activities and experiential learning.
- Ability to drive manual vehicle
