Event Decorator

Divine Events is a dynamic Event Hire/Themeing Company. We are seeking 1 or 2 event decorators to work alongside our event crew members in our successful Logistics and Production Team.
You will be responsible for the efficient installation (and sometimes pack-down) of the more decorative elements onsite for weddings and large corporate events, typically working alongside other event crew as part of a team. This would typically involve things such as draping, backdrops and ceiling installations, as well as decorative centrepiece installations. This is a hands on role which will involve weekend work, and occasional evening and late night work. We are seeking staff who can commit to regular hours on either a full-time or permanent part-time basis. You should expect to be working most Saturdays (day-time) as part of this role. Experience in this type of work is beneficial, and remuneration offered will reflect the individual's background and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and dismantle of decorative event components onsite; plus
- working as part of a team onsite to fulfill an entire event brief
- Drive company vehicles to and from event locations is beneficial
Successful applicants will have:
- Some experience in this type of work (preferably)
- Common sense and initiative to learn from and work with experienced crew
- Fully COVID vaccinated in line with requirements of most venues we work at
- Flexibility with work hours - weekend work expected (typically Saturday), and late night bump outs from time to time.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
