**Catering & Events Production Manager Job Description $45K - 55K + Super p/a (pending experience)**
Foodie del Mar is a full service catering & events company, and we offer a range of foodie experiences. A foodie experience is a delicious, colourful and sensory celebration of food, designed to excite and delight and take customers on a journey of unique flavours, fun and creativity.
We cater to corporate, weddings and private events.
We are looking for a full time or 4 day part time Production Manager to join our team.
**Requirements**:
Min. 2 years experience in the hospitality business or similar Trade qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to think off your feet and problem solve
Takes responsibility for tasks and execute with care
A ‘can do’ attitude & a team player
Feedback and willingness to learn attitude
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practice
Existing valid visa to work in Australia

**The Role**
Production execution: As our key production manager, you will be responsible for helping facilitate the execution of events from start to finish. This involves ensuring that every task is executed in a timely and orderly manner - from packing of service boxes and equipment, to bumping in and out of event venues through to post event servicing. These tasks are listed as per the Production check list SOP.
**Tasks**
Packaging & Deliveries**:NSW DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED" You will be responsible for overseeing the packaging and delivery of food for delivery jobs to clients on a day to day basis. This includes reconciling packaging, storing and setting up packaging for daily operations. This also involves delivery of food to client locations using one of the FDM vehicles.
At HQ: You will be an integral part of our business in being the sole main person in charge of the propery, packaging and all things equipment. You will work with the other team leaders in taking accountability of assets and equipment that belongs to Foodie - this incl. and not limited to servicing of equipment, replacement, ordering of packaging, service wares, boxes and platters etc.
Onsite: You will be responsible for bump in and out of equipment, set up and cleaning. In the chance that you are unable to attend, you will coordinate with other team members and ensure that they are briefed and able to assist in implementing process and checklist smoothly.
Maintenance + Process flow: From stock take, to maintenance of the FOH & BOH kitchen and venue, you will be responsible for working with the Director & Chef to implement seamless and efficient process flow in logistics and production of every job.
Flexibility & Adaptability: Each event is themed differently and tailored to the clients’ needs - so we expect flexibility and creativity at all times. We are also required to operate and function differently in different environments. Being flexible and a team player is integral.
**Communication**
Key client liaison and supervisor at events: upon arrival, you will be the main point of contact with the client and team members at the event onsite and assist in running events from start to finish. You will be the main conduit (BOH & FOH) for the team so they can seek direction and be supported. Clear communication is imperative at all times with the team.
**Problem solving and troubleshooting**
Thinking out of the box and on your feet is important in this role to ensure that issues raised by clients or staff are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. As a production lead, you are able to digest lots of information at one time and be able to provide sound solutions.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
