**About the Opportunity**

Are you ready to lead a skilled team in a dynamic and safety-focused environment? ASC is seeking two Fabrication Team Leads to provide technical and trade leadership across fabrication and welding operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality production, mentoring tradespeople and apprentices, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance and performance. **Responsibilities**
- Lead and mentor Tradespeople, Leading Hands, and Apprentices to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.
- Manage welding operations, ensuring strict adherence to ASC’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to execute scheduled work and implement maintenance strategies.
- Drive performance improvements through coaching, feedback, and clear goal-setting.
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and foster a safe, inclusive work environment.
- Support training initiatives in consultation with internal stakeholders.
- Champion continuous improvement and change management processes.

**About You**
- Relevant Trade Certificate and Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor (AS 1796).
- Cert IV in Management or equivalent leadership qualifications highly desirable.
- Proven experience leading teams in fabrication and welding environments.
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Heavy Fabrication (experience in CCSM Hull Welding is highly desirable).
- Intermediate computing skills and adaptability to change.
- High integrity, resilience, and a strong drive to achieve positive outcomes.

**Eligibility**

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
