**About the role**

We are currently seeking a Home Care Worker to provide a client with assistance, support and encouragement of independence. This casual position is available for someone willing to work a combination of morning, afternoon and night shifts across a 7 day week.

As a Home Care Worker your days will consist of:

- Helping with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation and other light housework;
- Assisting with transport to appointments and undertaking personal shopping;
- Personal care, including showering, dressing, continence care;
- Assisting with medication;
- Support in developing a consumer driven care plan.

**About you**

You are someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of seniors as you are a caring and empathetic person. Your ability to build relationships will build trust with the clients and ensure that they are feeling supported and cared for.

You will need:

- A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent;
- Completion of the following unit of competency: HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication;
- Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates;
- A current driver's licence and a willingness to use your own comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes (km's paid);
- Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house & manual work;
- National Police Certificate or the ability to acquire.
