One of Australia’s leading **Federal Government Departments** is looking to engage a skilled and experienced **Systems Analyst **to join their multidisciplinary team based **in their Canberra office**. Our client is looking to engage a **Systems Analyst **who has developed information architectures incorporating business processes that solve complex business and policy questions. The successful **Systems Analyst **will secure a **12-month contract **with **2x 12-month** extensions and a **rewarding hourly rate.**

The successful **Systems Analyst **will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Data management - driving systems development activities in a Microsoft database and hosting technology environment, including cloud infrastructures.
- Analysing business requirements used to inform and develop information architectures, data schemas and data dictionaries to achieve business outcomes.
- Leading of workshops and engagements with business stakeholders, eliciting, capturing and document business processes, requirements, rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Team participation in collaboration with developers, stakeholders, partners, and delivery service providers, ensuring successful delivery of required project artefacts.

The successful **Systems Analyst **will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business requirements and existing business outputs, and proven experience in working with system architects and build vendors.
- Ability to lead workshops and engagements with business stakeholders to elicit, capture and document business processes, requirements, rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrated written and communication skills, the ability to produce technical documentation, including system documentation for a variety of internal and external audiences.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile Methodology is desired.
