About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for service passionate and highly motivated Food and Beverage Attendants to join our award-winning team at Stamford Grand Adelaide on a casual or part time basis. The Stamford Grand Adelaide is one of Adelaide’s premier beachside resorts located in Glenelg and has access to Jetty Road’s vibrant shopping strip. The Hotel features 220 luxury rooms and all the trimmings of a resort style property.
To be successful in this role, we seek applicants who like to be of service to others, thrive in fast paced environments, are team players and have exceptional customer service skills. We are predominantly looking for staff to join our Grand Bar staff complement, however, our Food and Beverage Team are dynamically flexible and can also be rostered in our Promenade Restaurant or our cocktail lounge, Horizon’s.
Key Responsibilities
Uphold Stamford Grand Adelaide’s service standards, this includes immediate guest acknowledgement via verbal greeting paired with a warm smile
Provide exceptional service to all guests who enter our beachside Hotel in a confident and friendly manner
Assist with floor plan and cleanliness requirements prior to meal service, this includes table, banquet & buffet set up and clearance
Memorise menu/s, offer guests educated food paring suggestions, upsell products and be able to cater for guests with dietary requests
Manage guests’ food orders and work with a team of chefs, managers and other food and beverage attendants to ensure guests have a positive experience
Strong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate openly and professionally to cater to our guests needs promptly and professionally on every occasion during your shift
Display empathy and kindness to all internal and external guests
About you
You will have a bright, energetic attitude, hold a current RSA and Food Handlers Certificate, in addition to:
Cocktail, beer, wine and spirit knowledge (desirable)
Possess a positive attitude and friendly demeanour
The ability to build rapport with guests, creating an unforgettable experience
A high level of personal presentation and grooming
Flexibility to work various rostered shifts over a seven-day roster
Demonstrated experience as a Food and Beverage Attendant
