**About the Opportunity**

Based within our corporate support office in Parramatta, NSW, the newly created position of Masterdata Specialist provides support relating to data and data analysis in the procurement of spare parts required for our machines and customer operations.

**About Your New Role**

As part of this Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd Master Data Team, you will provide the business with access to high quality insights & reporting through strong data governance and analysis.

This role purposes, to provide Data that ensures integrity and to partner with applicable stake holders to help them understand operational performance and key drivers through data and reporting.
- Maintaining data governance systems & tools
- Data management projects including policy implementation.
- Drive initiatives that will enhance Data reliability & cleansing
- Process fundamental Master Data within corporate systems
- Reporting on Data governance and Data performance
- The role will report to the National Parts procurement and logistics manager.

**About You**
- Will have experience in a Master Data role including ownership of governance, policy and controls.
- In addition to data ownership, this person has the ability to understand the data and provide insights into key business drivers to enable high level decision support.
- Enjoys business partnering and helping people understand their Data.
- A team player, able to effectively influence and communicate cross functionally and able to engage at all levels in the organisations
- Be competent with SQL & MS Excel.
- Exposure to Dynamics, Servigistics, Azure & Power BI will also be highly regarded.
