**About Us**:
Perth ENT Centre is one of Perth’s best ENT Centres, providing a comprehensive range of health services. We are a team of qualified and highly experienced ENT Surgeons. The position is to mainly work with Prof Shyan Vijayasekaran, as a Fellow (Research and clinical assisting only).

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individual to join our ENT, Head & Neck Surgery Department in the position of a fellow in Otolaryngology. This is a permanent full time position, based at our Subiaco and Karrinyup Centres.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Assisting seeing patients in Specialist Consultant Clinic.
- Discuss the necessity of surgical procedure as applicable, risks involved and assist patients select the best surgical cure.
- Assisting with general Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery procedures
- Reviewing patients’ general health reports/medical history
- Instruct junior staff on patient and OT preparation
- Maintain operation/patient records, including post operative care/progress reports
- Coordinating a multitude of research projects.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- MBBS, FRACS (ENT)
- Fellow of, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) with specialties in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery
- Specialist Medical Registration with AHPRA
- Fellowship in Paediatric Otolaryngology

**Essential**:

- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualification/s
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in clinical setting
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities
- Well-developed communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Proven track record in the pursuit of clinical excellence
- Previous research experience

**Salary**: $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Subiaco, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
