Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join it's finance team. The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for managing the receivables process, ensuring accurate invoicing, efficient collections, and resolving debtor queries. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join it's finance team. The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for managing the receivables process, ensuring accurate invoicing, efficient collections, and resolving debtor queries. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

This role will be initially a 4 week fixed term contract leading to a permanent position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing day to day accounting transactions
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet
- Preparation, reconciliation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly BAS
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Managing accounts payable function including the processing of invoices for payment
- Managing the accounts receivable function including the allocation of payments
- Processing payroll and other payroll activities including superannuation, workcover and payroll tax
- Reporting: Cashflow reporting, sales reporting, weekly forecasts, debtors/collection
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Liaising with Company bank regarding establishment & ongoing activities relating to imports, capital purchases, company loans etc
- Manage imports, import pricing and scheduling

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a related role.
- Experience working with MYOB
- Strong numerical and data entry skills.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Understanding of financial reporting.
- Knowledge of credit assessment processes is a plus.
- Team player with a collaborative approach.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
