OSHC (Outside School Hour Care) are services for families, children and schools across Victoria. Suitable for children aged from five to 12 years old, we offer both before and after school care and school holiday programs.

**About the opportunity?**

The Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent full-time Coordinator for our OSHC Program at Armstrong Creek. In this role, you will also play a key part in organising and implementing the School Holiday Program. During school holidays, flexibility in work hours is required, as this may lead to additional hours to ensure the successful operation of the program for the community.

The hourly rate for the position is between $34 - $41 p/hour (depending on your qualification) + 11.5% super.

We are looking for a passionate individual dedicated to empowering young children through engaging experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the daily operations, strategic development, and growth of the program.
- Collaborating with the OSHC Manager to identify and respond to opportunities for service improvement.
- Building positive relationships with the school, families, local community groups, and contract partners.
- Leading a team of educators to deliver a high-quality, fun Outside School Hours Care program.

**What do you need?**
- You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below)
- You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
- You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check - employee check
- You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment
