**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Manager, Continuing Professional Education to join Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President, Chancellery Division.

The Partnership Manager is responsible for building relationships with business, government and not-for-profit organisations to facilitate QUT delivering their continuing and professional education needs. This position is embedded within the Faculty of Engineering and reports to the Director, Continuing Professional Education, Chancellery Division, for supervision, workload management and for Performance Planning and Review (PPR).

**About the Business Development Portfolio**

The Business Development Portfolio provides university-wide coordination and stewardship of QUT’s engagement with industry, philanthropic and alumni communities. Led by the Vice-President (Business Development), it is responsible for the following areas:

- Office of the Vice-President (Business Development);
- Advancement;
- Alumni and Corporate Events;
- Continuing Professional Education; and
- Industry Engagement.

As a strong communicator, you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and communicate the shared QUT Values in your approach to work.

You will demonstrate:
**Selection Criteria**
- Education, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a postgraduate degree.
- Proven track record in establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with industry, not-for-profit or government agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve business engagement targets that generate financial, reputational and impact benefits for the University.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proven planning and organisational skills, with experience in establishing own priorities and working within tight and competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of information technology to achieve operational outcomes efficiently and effectively including skills, experience and understanding of relational databases and demonstrated advanced skills in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other programs.
