The Anchorage has a variety of dining and food offering across the property. Including the recently named Best Seafood Restaurant in Regional NSW at the 2019 Savour Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence, The Wild Herring specialises in locally sourced, sustainable seafood open Thursday to Saturday evenings. The Galley Kitchen offers a casual dining setting and provides room service to our guests at their request. This award winning crew is casting a line out for an experienced Kitchen Hand. This Full Time opportunity is responsible and key to our back of house operations, duties will include;-
Cleaning of all soiled crockery, cutlery and equipment
-Cleaning of work areas
-Assist with the set-up of service
-Sweep and clean floors
-Ensure appropriate disposal of waste
-Assist with basic food preparation
- This position will require availability for split shifts for breakfast, lunch and dinner service across a 7 day rotating roster. Our seasonal peaks run through summer, public holiday and school holiday periods, availability during seasonal peaks is essential.**About you**

You are someone who can work under pressure while at all times ensuring that our current high standards are met. With availability throughout the week and weekends, previous experience in a similar café operations or the likes of Fast Food Chains is desirable. Basic food preparation and basics knife skills is highly desirable. Along with good work ethics, you will have the ability to adapt in a fast paced work environment and be a strong team player.**What we offer**
