Plasterer

Just Maintenance Services is seeking an experienced Plasterer to carry out fix-out and maintenance tasks in commercial/industrial sites.

Maintenance includes, but is not limited to: minor patching, access panels, linings, partitions, solid and suspended ceilings.

As indicated the position of Plasterer is a full-time wages role, it includes travel and fares per ordinary day, Public Holidays, RDO’s, Tool allowance, paid weekly, accrual of ARL & PCL regardless of work circumstances.

The effective hourly rate for the permanent role is $30.50. A casual rate can be offered in lieu pf permanent entitlements at approx. $37.50 per hour

Work Hours - A standard working day is between 7.00 am to 3:10 pm, over-time is available. One 20 minute smoko & one 30 minute lunch break, 19 day month in line JMS policy if you elect for RDOs. You will be provided with JMS work shirts, Mobile Telephone (or Phone Allowance). Personal vehicle use is reimbursed with a Vehicle Allowance, a JMS Vehicle may be offered for applicants that have a skills match for our multi-trade maintenance roles.

The successful applicant will need to provide, their own Tools of trade, a Queensland General OH&S induction card & a Queensland driver’s license. The applicant will provide blue shorts or trousers, blue socks & safety boots or equivalent.

The nature of the role may involve working with clients who require service personnel to maintain: influenza and COVID vaccination, a suitability for working with children and/or clear AFP criminal history check. As such the applicant must be wiling to be vaccinated and ensure they meet eligibility criteria for a Queensland Blue Card for working with children and be able to pass an AFP clearance.
