**Overview**: Our client, a leading consultancy specialising in retail, hospitality, tertiary education design, seeks a proactive and experienced Design Manager to contribute to their dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to oversee the design process and ensure exceptional standards across various projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop comprehensive design guidelines and standards for projects to align with client visions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with preferred designers and contractors to support project requirements.
- Coordinate design workshops and meetings with clients and design teams to conceptualize retail, hospitality, tertiary education spaces effectively.
- Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with established standards and client expectations.
- Provide final design approvals and prepare detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Facilitate weekly coordination meetings with internal teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Monitor the progress of design plans and ensure timely approvals to meet project milestones.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on design implementation to uphold project integrity and quality standards.
- Foster strong client relationships and effectively communicate project progress and updates.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Previous experience in Design Management within a consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in retail design and project management.
- Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Exceptional problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
