This role is based at Noosaville Family Store and is responsible for handling the movement of goods in and out of the NoosavilleFamily Stores. The role will also provide warehouse assistance, inclusive of truck driving, and retail assistance at Warehouse The job also requires the individual to work at Noosaville Family Store every Saturday and assist in the overall productivity of the Family Stores, in line with TSA mission.

We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Retail Assistant to provide support to The Family Store Manager in retail and warehousing operations and provide collection and movement of donated goods from entry to point of sale in line with TSA mission and values.

This is a permanent part-time position 36 hours a week.

You will successfully
- Assist in the daily operations of the retail section of the Family Store ensuring that it is operating at an optimum level
- Price stock, maintain store appearance, provide point of sale service, cash register operations, customer service enquiries- Assist in co-ordinating all furniture, goods and clothing being delivered to the Family Store by the public and Family Store vehicle, to retail or storage area- Support and assist volunteers effectively ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of operations
- Complete the opening & closing process in a timely & accurate manner

You will have
- Proven experience in the retail and/or warehousing
- An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote and support the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
- Availability to work Saturday
- Appropriate and valid driver’s licence
- A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
