We’re based in Meadowbrook, Brisbane and service all of Southeast Queensland. We have over 30 years of experience and offer a wide range of services, including emergency makesafe works, insurance repairs, private repairs, and restoration/remediation (fire and water). **About the role**:
**About the impact you will create**:
- Working on a construction site to learn, and develop skills in all stages of carpentry including frame, lock-up and fix.
- Having the ability to work well in a team, along with follow instructions to work independently.
- Demonstrating a high level of professionalism in your role, by always wearing the uniform correctly, conducting yourself in a respectful manner on site and in front of clients & stakeholders.
**About You**:
- Enrolled in or planning to enroll as an Apprentice - Carpenter (1st or 2nd year);
- Demonstrated passion for a career in the building industry;
- Highly motivated, keen and energetic;
- A strong interest in assisting others in order to achieve team goals;
- Demonstrated “Growth Mindset” and ability to ask curious questions to ensure instructions are understood;
- Effective and supportive communication style with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures, and capabilities;
- Demonstrated prior skill in maintaining your workplace in a safe and tidy manner;
- Australian Class C Driver’s License (Provisional license is acceptable).
