This amazing family owned child care centre in Balgowlah have a kind, experienced and supportive team who have built a high reputation within our local community. We are seeking an experienced Diploma or ECT qualified 2IC to join this fabulous team. Private parking is available as well as a short 5-10 minute walk to the nearest Bus and Train Station, as well as Cafes, Chemists, Gyms, Parks and Supermarkets, our clients staff are definitely lucky.
The role of an Assistant Director is to support the Centre Director in delivering operational service and quality to our children, team members, and our families. The Assistant Director will help lead the day-to-day operations ensuring that our Quality Framework and WH&S requirements are met. A strong reliance on communication and collaboration between the campus teams and families is a critical component of this role.
**Duties also include**
- To ensure children's wellbeing, learning needs and interests are addressed through a high quality education
- Meet and Greet families, children and visitors at the service
- Rostering, administration and enrolments
- Manage incoming/outgoing phone enquiries
- Assist the service manager with conducting tours
- Assist the service manager with interviews, phone screening, references and finalising new starters
- Manage family accounts
- Compliance documents within the service
- Assist on the floor when required
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
**Essential**
- Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood Education; (NEW Grads ECT or WT ECT accepted)
- Current Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- As a 2IC the ability to plan, implement and evaluate early childhood programs as required by the EYLF;
- Sound understanding of National Education and Care Services
- Regulation;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Working with Children Check number

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
