Joinery Factory Foreperson

Our client is a proudly Australian owned & operated Shopfitting business. They design, develop and produce a broad range of fixtures and merchandising display solutions to a number of well known major retailers throughout Australia, N.Z. and Internationally.

Due to a continuous demand on their current and future projects; we are currently seeking an experienced Joinery/Cabinet Maker Co-ordinator, to help assist in the running of the day to day production within their joinery and metal factory, based in the South Eastern suburbs, by co-ordinating and managing various development projects, ongoing and supply.

Some of your duties will include (but not limited to) are:

- Being capable of co-ordinating a small team of trades within the factory
- Being flexible to assist the team on the tools when required
- Ordering of material
- Understanding tasks from design intent; drawing; and most importantly the practical order of things and process to complete projects effectively, on time and to quality
- Managing effectively to costings
- Trade qualified Joiner/Cabinet Maker
- Previous experience in managing a small team of trades in a factory or a site team
- Being a team player and understands the importance of the team culture of co-operation, respecting it’s client partners, the team, and fulfilling the businesses sustainability with considered growth
