**Our Family**:

- Looking for a Marvellous Afternoon Nanny in New Farm Nanny Start Date: 3rd February 2025 or ASAP Pay Rate: $35 - $40 per hour, plus super and leave entitlements Fuel Allowance: $0.98 per km Contract Type: Part-time (minimum 12 months) Days/Hours:

- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Friday also an option if desired)
- 2:30pm - 5:30pm
- Additional hours available if interested in household duties
- Seeking a long-term commitment About the Family: This position is with a professional family and their school-aged child. The family enjoys activities such as reading, visiting the park, swimming, gardening, and building with Lego. Their delightful 5-year-old daughter is in prep this year. She adores animals, ballet, gymnastics, drawing, crafting, reading, cooking, and swimming. Her school is within walking distance of the family home. The family also has a lovable pet dog.

**Your Duties**:

- Tasks:

- Sole care of the child
- School pick-up (walking distance)
- Following established routines:

- Afternoon tea
- Homework assistance
- Planning activities and spending quality time
- Visits to the local park
- Encouraging the child to unpack her bag, help her wash lunchboxes, bathe, and eat dinner
- Tidying up after the child's activities and meals
- Washing and putting away dishes
- Tidying the child's bedroom (with her involvement)
- Laundry assistance, including washing, folding, and ironing school uniforms If more hours are desired:

- Meal preparation for the family
- Housekeeping duties Transport: A driver's licence or personal vehicle is not required for this role. If outings are needed, the family can provide a vehicle. Must Have:

- Blue Card/Police Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Two reference checks

- The ideal nanny will be energetic, responsible, experienced, trustworthy, and possess a can-do attitude. They should bring warmth, playfulness, and creativity to the household. The role involves planning engaging activities and ensuring a fun and structured afternoon routine for the child.
