We are currently seeking experienced **Kitchen Hand** at **Bethanie Joondanna Aged Care Home** to fill a variety of shifts on a **casual basis**. Bethanie Joondanna is a 60 bed friendly and welcoming aged-care home.

**About the role**:

- Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ensuring required ingredients are available daily
- Assisting is preparation, apportioning and serving of meals
- Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
- Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery

**About You**:

- Willingness to uphold the vision, mission and values of The Bethanie Group
- Possess a passion for, and previous experience working as Kitchen Hand or Food Services Assistant ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment
- Have a “can do” attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A current police clearance or willingness to get one
