**About Us**
Rosebank College has a proud and varied history of over 150 years as part of the Good Samaritan family established in 1857, and belonging to the Benedictine spiritual and educational tradition founded by St Benedict in the 4th century. The College belongs to the community of ten schools across Australia called _Good Samaritan Education_ (_GSE_). Established in 2011 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, the mission of _Good Samaritan Education_ is to sustain and nurture our Catholic schools as Good Samaritan Benedictine communities of learning.

**About the Role**
A school of Good Samaritan Education, Rosebank College, seeks expressions of interest in the permanent full-time RE Coordinator (2-point allowance) position to lead the RE Faculty from Term 1, 2025. This role will work collaboratively with RE members, other KLA department leaders, and across all year groups, undertaking responsibilities within the team as required by the Dean of Learning.
Applicants for this position must be experienced leaders, excellent classroom practitioners, dedicated team players interested in the care and welfare of students, and skilled in teaching RE to contribute to the College’s educational program in teaching and learning. They will also need to be skilled in using educational technology in the classroom. This position will allow a creative and passionate teacher to flourish.
**About You**
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Completed, or has evidence of, study toward a Graduate Diploma or Master of Religious Education, Theology, or Theological Studies from an approved institution.
- Proven leadership experience focusing on rigorous student learning, engagement, and growth.
- Ability to teach RE up to stage 6.
- Ability and experience to teach all Stage 6 courses (SOR 2, 1, and Catholic Thought).
- Able to lead Religious Education in all curriculum development, implementation, and differentiation aspects.
- A strong, contemporary learning leader with the capacity to lead change and demonstrate contemporary pedagogy that focuses on improving student learning.
- Able to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders and build relationships.
- Baptised Catholic with demonstrated evidence of ongoing commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church and engagement in the life of a Catholic faith community, such as a parish or an established community within the Catholic Church, as an expression of your relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A commitment to academic excellence and demonstrated knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices that encourage academic excellence.
- Commitment to continual improvement and effective use of data to differentiate the curriculum and address the learning needs of all students.
- Demonstrates the standard descriptors at the lead teacher level in accordance with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- Ability to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning.
- Interpersonal skills with parents, students, and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team and with the Ministry Team.
- Supporting the College Pastoral Program, including being responsible for a Home Room and PACE program.
- Possess a valid Working with Children Check.
- A commitment to the child safeguarding principles.
- Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College.
