Principal Advisor

**The role**:
Reporting to the Director, Digital Strategic Partnerships you will undertake strategic analysis and research of key documents to provide high quality advice and support to senior health executives on Queensland's digital health strategic partners. This will include briefs, speaking notes and other documents in the corporate format required. You will also effectively use governance and engagement mechanisms to ensure that senior executives can influence the best outcome for Queensland at both a state and national level.
**Further duties include**:
- Coordinate high quality responses to internal and external requests by engaging key stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment with Queensland Health priorities.
- Develop and maintain effective networks by consulting with internal and external clients, interest groups, other government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Support Queensland Health representatives at national, state, inter-departmental and intra-departmental committees by effectively contributing at various forums.
- Proactively manage personal workload and effectively plan end-to-end work processes required to respond to national digital health activities within aggressive timelines, by using effective organisation and time management techniques.
Are you right for this role?
You will have very highly developed written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to provide high quality advice on a range of issues and to prepare submissions, briefings and reports within condensed timeframes. Furthermore, to be successful in the role you will need highly developed interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills, with proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior and multi-disciplinary staff at the organisational, state, national, sector and industry levels.
