**Your new company**
Our Client is one of Australia's fastest growing developers of luxury, over 50s residential properties who specialise in architecturally designed and completed resorts with luxury fittings. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking for an Energy Assessor to join the team to support the Director of Sustainability, Renewable and Energy on multiple projects across the Gold Coast.

**Your new role**
Working closely with the residential design team you will be assisting with project costings and delivery whilst also undertaking energy efficiency assessments and provide cost-effective design solutions to achieve higher ratings across our residential portfolio. Within the role you will also partake in assessing the energy and thermal performance of residential buildings under the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) whilst also completing energy efficiency reports, BASIX & J Assessments. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team who are passionate about their work and projects.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessment or Certificate IV in Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability - NatHERS accreditation, using relevant software tools.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient building design principles
- Experience in thermal simulations using BERS Pro software
- Commercial buildings ratings (Section J / NABERS)
- Current accreditation with an approved AAO
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, staff and other external consultants as required
- The knowledge and ability to exercise professional judgement and sound advice
