Theatre Technician

Location: Ballarat Central, VIC, AU, 3350

**Permanent Part Time - 25 Hours Available**
**$28.84 per hour + salary packaging**

**About the Role**
Join the dynamic team at Ballarat Health Services’ Endoscopy suite in the Perioperative Day Procedure Unit. This permanent part-time role operates Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements. Work in state-of-the-art facilities, contribute to high-quality patient care, and enjoy training opportunities to enhance your skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

Assist with safe patient positioning during procedures
. Prepare, maintain, and handle theatre equipment
. Perform transport, cleaning, and portering duties
. Dispose of soiled linen and consumables
. Attend departmental meetings and training sessions
. Report equipment issues and maintain compliance with infection control policies

**Skills & Experience**

Desire to pursue a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Theatre Support)
. Experience in healthcare or theatre support (preferred)
. Strong time management and organizational skills
. Ability to adapt, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively
. Clear communication and a commitment to high work standards
