**About the Role**

**This is a newly created position, due to the sustained and forecasted growth and success of St Jude's**

The Health, Safety & Wellbeing Officer works collaboratively with various internal stakeholders to manage risk and provide support in the management of all OH&S issues, workers compensation claims and/or associated investigations. The role will drive awareness and accountability for OH&S matters for the organisation and work collaboratively with the Q&C team to develop and implement action plans to address internal/external audit outcomes, proposing solutions and training plans as required.

**Key duties include**:

- Controlling the prevention and management strategies, documentation and policies associated with COVID-19.
- Managing injury matters, workers compensation claims and ensuring a safe and supported working environment.
- Working closely with operational stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities in relation to workplace health and safety.
- Developing and promoting wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.

**This role is being hired on a permanent full time basis and is located at our central offices in Kewdale.**

**Skills & Experience**

**Key Requirements include**:

- Tertiary qualifications in OH&S or a related discipline.
- Previous experience developing OH&S strategies and projects.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation as it pertains to OH&S matters.
- Has the ability to travel to all St Jude's offices as required.
- Possess or willing to obtain:

- NDIS Clearance Check.
- COVID-19 Vaccinations.
