Simulator Technician

**About This Role**

The Simulator Technician is responsible to the Maintenance Manager to perform all preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices under support in a safe and effective manner, ensuring maximum successful training events are able to be achieved by the end user for the Hawk 127 platform.

This role be based out of **RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.**

**The role we are offering you**
- Carry out all maintenance tasks as required and directed by the Maintenance Manager
- Ensure all maintenance tasks meet internal and external compliance requirements
- As a Technician, you will get to work on world-leading flight simulator technology
- Work to CAE’s Environment, Health and Safety standards
- Technician and/or mechanical trade skill is desired, such as electronic tech, electrician, IT professional etc
- Sound IT knowledge and ability to learn systems quickly
- Strong problem solving skills
- Avionics technician certification, experience or knowledge will be a big plus

**Security requirements**

**_As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance._**
