**The role**:
The Service Delivery Group is responsible for the maintenance of our water and sewer assets, network operations, operational technology, treatment and recovery services and asset performance and resilience functions of the business.

Reporting to the Contracts Program Manager, the Contracts Supervisor will be a specialist point of contact within the Service Delivery Group, contributing to the development and ongoing long-term working relationship between South East Water and the Contractors of the Service Delivery Group.

Your will be providing contractual advice while ensuring the group’s contracts are being administered appropriately and conducted within a manner that meets best practice governance expectations. Responsibilities also include coordinating with Maintenance contractors, Operations and Maintenance staff, Safety & Wellbeing staff and the Contracts Program Manager to identify and address contractual performance areas relating to safety, environment, quality and customer (HSEQC) performance.

You will also have responsibility for two Contract Quality Advisors, providing leadership, technical support, and guidance.

**Who are you?**:
Along with your previous contract management experience in a similar role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Bachelor of Business or similar qualifications.
- A strong understanding of Vendor Management to include Tier 1 high risk suppliers including water, sewer, mechanical, electrical, and professional services.
- Experience in incident management processes such as Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) incident reporting.
- Experience in achieving and being accountable for tangible commercial results.
- Confidence in influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, and delivering quality outputs within tight timeframes.
- Strong analytical skills such as advanced Excel, Power BI and SQL (desirable).
- Understanding of the construction, repair and maintenance of water, sewer and recycled water assets, including a basic understanding of network operations.
- Highly developed strategic, analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with contractors, supervisors and field staff.
- Written communication skills to produce high quality reports and updates.
- An ability to define workflows and work practices, whilst identifying opportunities to oversee and drive process improvement.
- Basic project management skills to forecast, plan and manage minor programs or projects.
- Hold Construction Induction (white card), Full Victorian Driving license, Trenching and Shoring and Confined Space qualifications, First Aid qualifications or a willingness to obtain qualifications.
