**About the Role**
We are Now Hiring for **Experienced Basic Riggers** to join a new and exciting shipbuilding project with one of the worlds Leading Shipbuilders. This project, based in Henderson will be a 10 Year Contract carrying out pipe installation and fabrication for a Naval Ship Project.

**Duties**:

- Support the Henderson-based Ship Construction team
- Inspection and preparing loads that need to be moved
- Setting aligning and leveling heavy equipment machinery
- Selecting the appropriate rigging gear
- Preparing rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, and bolts
- Inspecting rigging equipment before final use
- Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment
- Maneuvering loads using heavy equipment machinery and by hand
- Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post
- post rigging inspections
- Overhead Gantry daily pre-checks and hourly logbook
- Maintenance/management and cert of all rigging equipment
- Assessing lifts and completing Risk Assessments when required
- Coordinating access to elevated areas for hook up, as required
- Ensuring safe landing area for lifted items
- Clean up of landing areas
- Security of Lift / Travel area
- Operate Forklift as requested and daily checks

**About the Applicant**

The successful applicants must have the ability to attend work Monday to Friday and work up to 50 Hrs/Week.

**Mandatory**:

- 2 Years Rigging experience
- Confined Space Entry
- Strong safety ethics
- You will be a strong team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and further develop
- Drivers Licence and own transport
- Be willing to participate with Pre-employment Medical and random Drug and Alcohol Screening.

**Desirable**:

- 5 Years + Rigging Experience
- Fire Training and/or working at heights.
- High Risk License for EWP, Rigging, Forklift
- Gantry Training
