About Us
About the Role
You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records as well as other duties as required by the Dentist including promotion of oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification. Minimum of 2 years (full time equivalent) experience within the last 5 years. Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients within a dental surgery.
About Randwick Health Centre
Located on Randwick Barracks in Eastern Sydney, Randwick Health Centre provides general medical services, along with dentistry, physiotherapy, and other specialist appointments. This Health Centre services up to 2,000 members, with plenty of on-site parking. Its standard operating hours are 0730-1530 Monday-Friday.

You have a professional and friendly manner and enjoy interacting with patients and assisting the dental team with a range of support activities. Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures, you take pride in contributing to the cleanliness and effectiveness of a dental surgery environment and assisting your team wherever possible. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing dental support services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.
