Workshop Supervisor

PetrolTec is a growing Downstream Petroleum Service Company based in Maddington WA and we’re looking for a Workshop Supervisor to join our growing team.

We are seeking a leader to oversee the operations of the workshop, parts, clientele and supervise a team of approx. 5 staff. The position is based in Maddington and will be primarily Monday to Friday however the occasional weekend may be required.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Scheduling jobs and coordinate workflow in the workshop to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Liaising with customers to assist with breakdowns, servicing, and maintenance requests
- Ensuring all materials, parts, tools and documents are available and complete prior to executing works as scheduled
- Following safe working practices, creating SWMS and conducting tool box meetings
- Carrying out purchasing tasks to source parts in a timely and cost effective manner
- Ensuring KPI targets and quality standards are met
- Driving a positive work culture and environment within the work place
- Engaging with the team to maintain effective and open communication
- Compling with company policies and practices

**Skills and Experience**:

- 5 Years experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a workshop team within a manufacturing and/or service role
- Demonstrable experience in job planning and scheduling
- Exceptional ability to multitask, plan, prioritise and manage fluctuations
- Able to manage a team of 5+ Staff
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions
- High attention to detail and ability to produce quality work.
- Work efficiently with excellent time management skills.
- Must be self-motivated and reliable.
- Focus on OH&S
- Must be computer literate with competent use of Excel and word.
- Must be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders both internal & external
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a positive work ethic
- C Class Drivers Licence
- Current forklift ticket

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

- Maddington, WA 6109: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
