**Looking for better pay and flexible work hours? We have a range of rosters available**:

- **Opportunity to work 4 days, be paid for 5**
- Monday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday
- 4-day week (40 hours), 3 days off
- Up to $45 per hour
- **Guaranteed 50 hour week**
- Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day
- Up to $50 per hour
- **Afternoon Shift rosters with additional 18% loading**

**The role**

As one of our Diesel Mechanics, your work is critical to keep our customer's trucks going and on the road

Due to **Penske's business growth**, we are looking for Diesel Mechanics to join our team at our **Wacol** location, where you can have the option to work either a **4-day week**, **50 hour week** **(on flat rate)** or **Afternoon shift**.

**About you**:

- **Trade qualification **in heavy vehicle mechanics.
- Robust background in **maintenance, service and repair **of heavy vehicles and trucks.
- Exhibit a sound technical knowledge and experience with American or European trucks - Volvo, Mack Scania, or Kenworth.
- Experience in Western Star, MAN Trucks & Bus, Dennis Eagle, _mtu_, Detroit and Allison Transmission products would be highly advantageous
- Easily work independently, but just as happy working in a team
- Have effective communication and teamwork skills, and actively promote Penske's values and purpose.
