Waste Management Attendant

Our client, a well known waste management facility located in Mindarie, is currently seeking an experienced mobile plant operator/Waste Management Attendant to carry out the following duties:

- Waste Management and landfill site activities
- Operate articulated Dump Truck, Loader, Roller and or Dozer
- Set out tasks associated with earth works including interpretation of plans

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

- An understanding of appropriate work practices including WHS
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a small team
- Demonstrated experience in earthmoving, mining, roadworks or subdivision
- Knowledge of hazardous items
- Understanding of landfill management and resource recovery operations

The role will require the ability to work in adverse conditions, i.e. outdoors in inclement weather, or in odorous or dirty conditions.
You must be able to stand for lengthy periods, perform manual handling tasks including pushing and pulling, and walk on uneven ground surfaces.
Working a 7.6 days, rotating roster Monday to Sunday. Competitive salary plus allowances, overtime and superannuation.
