What is the role?
We’re seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join our Brisbane Head Office.
In this role, you will play a critical part in driving Lorna Jane's people strategy by partnering with leaders of the business to provide guidance on HR best practices, leadership development, and people management.
What You’ll be doing
**As our People Business Partner you’ll**:
- Provide your customer group with sound, accurate and compliant HR advice in line with legislation and award
- Partner with your customer group and the broader business to provide coaching, mentoring and recommendations that lift capability and influence change
- Lead by example to champion the values across the business
- Support leaders within in the business to hold their team accountable through effective people management processes and advice
- Lead, support and drive new initiatives across the business that set us apart from the norm
- Interrogate business process and ways of working to always look to be more efficient and productive
- Act as a leader within the business and the People team that creates a culture of success by developing others to drive high performance
- Ensure agreed actions within your customer group are followed through and delivered on in a timely manner
- Provide your customer group with relevant and engaging communication where it is required
- Identify opportunities to lift engagement within your customer group through people initiatives or new ways of working
- Support the broader people team with initiatives or tasks to ensure as a team, we are able to deliver on our objectives
Who We’re Looking For
**We’re seeking someone who has**:
- 3 + years’ experience in HR Generalist/Business Partner role
- Knowledge and understanding of employment related legislation and Award interpretation
- Formal HR-related qualification
- People leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change
- The ability to effectively partner with all levels of leadership within the business
- Effective time management to plan and organise with competing priorities
- Exceptional employment relations case management experience including complex and difficult matters
- Robust problem-solving skills and decision making
- Ability to communicate effectively and with intention
