Government owned organisation is currently recruiting for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager
**Your new role**
Reporting to the General Manager, the Health, Safety and Environment Manager focuses on providing specialist advice, senior level management, coaching and mentoring in the organisations HSE Management System and methods of work.

This role is suitable for an experienced senior safety professional who has strong communication skills, a personable nature, can coach and mentor team and staff easily and someone who will strive to positively influence safety awareness and the organisation in general.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety, the environment, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- HSE auditing qualifications or related experience.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or experience in the delivery of workplace education and training would be desirable
- Ability to travel state wide on a regular basis to Launceston & Burnie
- Current Driver’s Licence
