**The Role**
- Leading independent girls’ school, Camberwell Girls Grammar School, presents an opportunity for a Head of Library to join our team on a full-time basis either in Term 1, 2026 or earlier by negotiation. The role includes an approximate 0.2FTE teaching load.

Reporting to the Director of Teaching and Learning, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the School's library services across both of our campuses. This role is responsible for transforming the library into a dynamic learning hub that supports curriculum delivery, fosters a love of reading, and develops information literacy skills essential for 21st century learners.

- Developing and articulating a compelling vision for library services that aligns with the School's educational philosophy and strategic goals.
- Leading change management initiatives to ensure library services evolve with educational trends and technological advancements.
- Overseeing the management and curation of diverse and responsive collections that support teaching and learning across the curriculum.
- Collaborating with Heads of Department to seamlessly integrate library resources and information literacy into curriculum.
- Creating effective library learning experiences, opportunities and programs, including multimodal literacy, to engage diverse learners and foster a love for reading and lifelong learning.

**About you**
- You will have _
- Masters Degree in Library Science, Information Management, Teacher Librarianship or equivalent
- Teaching qualification with current VIT registration
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a school environment
