**About Us**:
Racing Victoria (RV) is one of Australia’s leading sporting organisations, and the independent governing body of thoroughbred racing in Victoria. We develop, promote and manage the conduct of the racing of thoroughbred horses in Victoria to safeguard its integrity.

We are looking for an Equine Welfare Administrator to join our Equine Welfare Team.

**About the Opportunity**:
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Equine Welfare Team in the implementation of the Equine Welfare Strategic Plan. In particular, supporting the Team’s administration requirements and more broadly be the first point of contact when people are contacting the EW Team.

There will be a particular focus on OTT sponsorship program, RESET and Acknowledged Retrainer Program and OTT Community targeting the ‘Demand’, ‘Transition’ and ‘Longevity’ post racing principles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing Team assistance in raising PO’s and processing invoices. Provide assistance to EW Program Coordinator in finalising EOM financials.
- Answering and assisting/triaging Equine Welfare phone calls
- Provide administration support for various programs within the equine welfare team.
- OTT Community/Post-racing Platform admin - including approving horse claims, running merchandise reports.
- Uploading content and sourcing photos
- Distribution of OTT Community Competition prizes
- Maintaining and updating OTTC Events Calendar
- Providing timely and efficient event coordination/assistance for OTT Events and sponsorship

**About You**:

- As a team administrator, you’ll support the wider EW Team with best-in class admin assistance.
- Proven experience in exceptional administrative skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and forward planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, identify key actions and coordinate various work streams to maintain momentum.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills which facilitate interaction with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Pro-active, self-motivated and deadline driven;
- Team focused with sound organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple issues/projects.
- Current Driver’s Licence holder
- Some weekend work will be required to attend sponsored events.
