CCLO Living is a non-for-profit charity, established in 1996. We have been assisting people with a disability to live their life to its fullest potential for almost 25 years.

We have grown rapidly over the last years and now have 16 Supported Independent Living (SIL) Accommodation Group Homes through the Central Coast. Along with this core activity we also provide Community Participation & Support Coordination for participants under the NDIS.

**_About the role:_**

As an experience House Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and services in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Home on the Central Coast.

This role is a management position, providing and directing support to residential clients with paid allocated administrative days, using your experience and tertiary qualifications in either Social Science, Welfare, Disability or Management and proficiency in developing and implementing NDIS and NDIA regulations, and practice standards.

You will guide and mentor your team of Support Workers to create a safe and secure home for the residential clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring high-quality services are consistently provided to residents and their families
- Overseeing and managing daily operations of support services within the home
- Providing coaching and developing opportunities, managing conflict and addressing performance within your team
- Overseeing manual handling activities, personal care and household tasks such as menu planning, cooking, cleaning, medication administration and checking in medication arrivals
- Working collaboratively with your team on client's person centered plans, supporting them to achieve their goals and gain new skills.
- Monitor and Manage the ongoing compliance and follow CCLO policies & procedures.
- Provide supervision and mentoring the support employees.

**_About you, you will have: _**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience in the development and implementation of NDIS support programs and understanding the Roster of Care for a SIL Property
- Experience working in the community based settings with people with a disability, dementia and or mental health
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Windows programs including Word and Outlook
- Proven managerial expertise, including Rostering, staff supervision, report writing, financial reporting, conflict resolution, running meetings, implementing staff training.
- Knowledge of the NDIS Practice standards, NDIS Code of Conduct & Disability Service Standards.
- Experience with the implementation and documentation of Restrictive Practices and Reportable Incidents,
- Understanding of WHS, EEO and Privacy legislation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to be available for paid On Call, on a roster outside of business hours.
- Current NSW Drivers License.
- Your own road worthy motor vehicle
- A Working with children's check.
- An NDIS Screening check
- An NDIS Worker Orientation certificate
- A current First Aid certificate.
- You will be able to provide two recent written references
