EQUANS ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sustainable Procurement Manager to join the team in Fairfield, VIC. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Sustainable Procurement Manager is responsible for implementing and managing a transversal procurement organisation within the Bus organisations, delivering procurement actions contributing to reach the AREA business plan.
- Role overview:_
- Delivering, implementing, and maintaining category management strategies for direct and indirect spend categories
- Development and implementation of the procurement roadmap and subsequent strategy, including targets, performance-focused and BUs benefits-oriented
- Coordinating and managing Procurement Cross-Business Unit and central ANZ procurement teams
- Enable professionalization of procurement in the EQUANS environment
- Career and people management
- Ensuring cost reduction, process optimization, teams efficiency
- Performance centric through proper steering, planning and coordination
- Budget & financial management of the procurement budget
- Alignment with key internal and external stakeholders
- Coordination of governances and policies, processes, tools between Business Units.
- Procure2Pay Process, process simplification and digitalization, including follow-up and monitoring for constant improvement
- Management of the teams, Coaching and guidance of the procurement teams
- Category and supplier management set up
- Achievement of the performance and governance targets
- Negotiations, for own packages and bringing weight of the group/Area when necessary
- About you:_
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a procurement role
- Preferably involved in procuring materials and services in the construction services business including electrical, communications, HVAC and Fire Safety systems will be highly regarded
- Strong negotiation skills - partnering with major suppliers to obtain best outcomes
- Experience in improving procurement / supply chain environment
- Sound commercial acumen - understand budget management processes and forecast future demand
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced MS Excel Skills
- Strong understanding of Procurement & Inventory functionality withing ERP systems
